Works yeah and then basically there was this uh a woman and a kid going to the toilet as well so I was like cool I've never been to the sweater spoons before I'll just Arab pointing up I'll just follow that oh no so so I'm wondering what everyone's thinking already so they walk up the stairs very slowly and I'm like okay and then we pass one door and it says mind it's step and it because the plaque was slightly different to.
So on each or what what I learned later on each door there's like two separate signs there's like a plaque that sticks out that's really easy to read that's like mind the step or private or whatever Sunny Philadelphia is um was it pirate is he jokes but um or there's this really like um a Lino rubbish reflective one of if it's the guys or girls toilets so me being Megan I've never been here before normally the guys and girls toilets are.
Very similar walk walk down this this Corridor pass a door keep walking pass another door but that one I spotted that says the first one says mind the step the second was like private and then um there's this tight Corridor and there's this woman came out of one door and starts walking towards us so we had to step to one side as the warm water passed me not realizing the woman's looking at me quite strangely as I'm following this lady and kid.
But then she carries on going so are you are you old enough young enough to look like that's your kid slash that's your wife no that's a cupboard that is a woman that looks very nervous that I'm following her into the toilets so about to attack her or her kid so she is clearly nervously walking each step as if she's walking to the grave but maybe me was thinking oh it's a bit of a maze this weather spoons so that must be.
The the ladies toilets ahead of this final corridor but I reckon there's a right turning that then the guys will be next to it so she walked in I was like okay female I looked alright I was like oh there's a wall there so what's that going so the first sign so the toilet's upstairs I walked past I was there going maybe it's one of the other ones and I literally nearly I double checked to be like I'm I'm gonna double check that.
It's not like a toilet and then you walk through and then it's going girl and it definitely said uh late women's or whatever um so then I walk back on myself and luckily found the guy's toilets but now I know why one woman looked at me very strangely and this is the thing I was wearing cap glasses I got my beard on so looking very good did you have earpods earpods in as well luckily not so I don't know if that's better or worse at.
Least are you also doing this with your hands well I was like ready to basically shoot out there so obviously not not taking someone down look like a predator obviously did she kind of like did she kind of like you know how you go through a door and kind of like Push the door shut behind you like did she do anything I don't know right because she was slightly I think because she was slightly focusing on the girl I think it's just adding.
Anticipation that she's walking very slowly but I think it was just a I deliberately held off a bit because I was like I don't want her to think I'm gonna follow her into the toilet but she probably thought that once I passed the guy's toilets that were like it's like an L shape and it was the first sword it literally said oh I definitely didn't look like I was wearing trackies and trailers I looked really dodgy so basically it was mind your stat.
And above that you know like a vinyl shiny thing it said guys toilets but I couldn't quite see it from the angle because the light was shining on it um I guess she probably thought I don't know yeah sometimes the guy's toilets because they know we're guys they don't mind making us walk right so the guy's toilets will be even further beyond the female toilets right so sometimes that's the case so you think like okay female toilets are first because like for some.
Reason sure to walk then guys longer walk cool that makes sense like it's logical but that's so funny I'm glad you didn't go in because chances are she would have like said something maybe she wouldn't have said something like who knows you could see that you were a guy right like you could you could see that I didn't have my penis you had a hood on or like no like long hair or or whatever I didn't have all.
Done so you saw my face but but yeah that's so funny I knew you'd find it funny even if no one else you know you know what's funny like so in um I think it was in Singapore basically like they love um like obviously crime is low anyway but what they love doing is like public shaming so what they have is this like photo of a like board like a cut out policeman with this like arrow pointing to this photo of someone shoplifting.
Right and I've seen it like a couple of times and I think that's such a great thing it would be so funny if you went back next week and there's basically a photo of you walking behind these this woman and kid we like like publicly shaving like do you know this guy watch out for this guy he follows you into the toilet I might need to never go back to that weatherspoons ever again or just like shave and put contacts in and then.
It'd be like no no I remember one time I went into weatherspoons this is like way back when I came back from University and basically I was waiting at the bar to order and I'm a drummer so I fidget a little and I was just flicking this 10 pound note right and it's busy I'm I'm not I'm not like oh give me a drink kind of like I'm not like craving I'm just flicking this sometimes note because I'm.
Like a bit you know I'm just tapping and stuff anyway I started to see these people like look at me but like carry on carry on working and I'm like this is a bit weird like they're kind of like looking a bit weird and they're kind of like back chatting a little and then the manager comes over and is like not serving you I'm like what you were near the other day causing trouble and I was like what I've I've.
Literally just come from University this is my first night like how how it was like yeah because you were with him and it basically pointed to John like John John sat next like stood next to me and I was like what me and him have literally just seen him tonight we've not been out at all so I was like you know when there's like this public outrage I was outraged at the fact that you thought I was this Troublemaker but.
I think it was probably he made a lie and maybe I was like flicking his ten pound note thinking that oh he's like basically causing a fuss or something in the end I basically was like that's crazy like let me speak to the manager or whatever I think I managed to speak to somebody else or maybe maybe that wasn't the manager and I did speak to the manager and I was like look I've literally me and him I've not been here.
So like you can't not serve us like we've not been here this is the first night you must be somewhere so then the guy was like all right maybe you're someone else but if it happens again I'm through like I'm not saying what happens again again I wasn't even the first guy that it happened with so it's like classic so then it became a just a funny story about hilarious but yeah so in that weather spoons there's a photo of.
Me being like do you know this guy but there's obviously somebody that looks like me in North Wales in London in North Wales that kind of looks like me or someone that doesn't look like me that was flicking a ten pound note and it's like oh it's him but he's just shaving this time also ah yeah I think sometimes people have the power dynamics right they especially if someone's causing them first then it's any excuse to utilize the power dynamics.

Trapped into a corner so I think the second you didn't come in I bet that was a relief like in that moment but yeah for the the moments warming up I bet you felt relieved that there was a woman there but I bet she also hoped that the woman walking and saw you said like you're right the guy's toilets are over there or something but of course didn't say as well because I mean it comes back to that time when that guy thought.
You were looking at him like strangely but you were just looking at him and then like you know started a fight on you and whatever so good time yeah so that chiseled look of yours you know a mere fight and fighting I was thinking thinking even just now like I was I was turning on the camera and I was like if I look like this and I look tired but if I look like this I got no wrinkles right.

Of to be like look like who knows where she went to the staff and was like there's this guy following this woman in the girl's toilet so as I laughed and went into the guys toilets they probably and another guy from the bar walks in gets beaten up laugh out loud right you weren't like ha you went like out loud laughing right no laughing to myself like in my head all right but what I'm saying is if he went.
If he went if she went to the bar and then I went into the guy's toilets and then the guy from a bar was like I better check up on him like I'm about to get in a fight walks in gets beaten up by the lady that's about to beat someone up it's like now that would be a story and a half and then you would have just come out you would have come out normally done your thing and then behind the scenes.
Like police have been called and everything and then the week after when you walk past there's a policeman uh cut out policeman with her do you know this guy and there's a photo of you just walking around this girl uh that's that's funny mistaken identity 101 that is well not mistaken identity because you know you were you weren't gonna mistaken identity a couple of times in Nottingham out of all places has that also been where someone wants to fight you think you're somebody and.

Where's Orange because I was wearing my Netherlands football top because obviously that's gonna stand out and like you're six foot and they're like so where were you in the last half an hour and obviously when you're there going I was in a park reading the Bible like I think that you massively like defused it massively because she was like no you're definitely throwing glasses and I'm there going I've literally got the Bible in my pocket to cover my story and I know for a fact.
If you check the CCTV it won't be me and she's like okay we'll we'll let you it's the classic well we'll let you go this time as if they're giving me the obligation where it's like [ __ ] please like this you've walked into my space and wasted my time and now you're having a go at me as if I'm wasting your time so the message is when somebody I I would say the message is when someone confronts you always have a Bible always.
Have a Bible to be like I was reading my Bible so always have a fun be the Bible yeah basically when somebody comes it kind of reminds me like nothing shuts a conversation down like mentioning the Bible right so that'll get your religion religion and politics religional shutter conversation I was a politic someone would go with you on that one but religion might be a bit too much right I basically specifically the conversion of it right because she probably knows the.
Next sentence is going to be yeah and if you read the Bible you know it reminds you it reminds me of tide right um I always remember when trick-or-treating happened yeah yeah I got there first um uh um basically tired used to answer the door and say oh hey uh so I'm going to church tonight where are you going she is I thought that was beautiful obviously the kids would be like oh you're a weirdo we're going off which.

Was first year of uni a nice integration into knowing Nottingham um which was lovely uh the second one I think I must spend the Nottingham for like five years or something this is post uni I'm working I was walking along the streets with with our older brother Tony and this like I can't quite tell his age a guy taller than me and I'm six one he must have been six something like six foot four or five he sort of looked a bit lanky so.

Fistica fight like get my hands ready like I have no idea if they've got weapons or anything so it's like I'm ready for like I've got adrenaline to run I've got adrenaline to fight and I don't know what's gonna happen next and then it fizzed out and then again and then you get that massive adrenaline dump of like in a weird way even though you never want to get in a fight the only time that you always wish you.
Had a fight is when you had that adrenaline dump and you're like oh that's a bit of a waste wasn't it I wish I at least used it on something yeah a waste of life have you ever seen them Always Sunny in Philadelphia where um Charlie and Mac beat up a bunch of kids yeah yeah because they stole their bikes or something didn't they yeah and it was very like it was very melodramatic in the way that they were doing it but yeah.
So so I don't know if it was uh oh those I couldn't quite tell if it's a maybe I did look like that person or they were just pulling pranks in this sort of city of Nottingham oh who can we put pull the blanket over um but equally it's like if we had a full-on bat at these kids and police walked by it definitely wouldn't look good for me Tony and it would have been like you know what what would have happened it.
Would have been like okay two two guys beat up a bunch of teenagers and then it'd be like same guy was also alleged to have been there because it's in the pub five years ago we finally caught him kind of the thing oh that's so funny it it is annoying though isn't it when that kind of stuff happens because again like for context like Tom and I have not been any in any fights of our own accord as.
In like we've only got started on like like we've only been jumped into fights to stop yeah yes yeah yeah yeah was are you talking about me doing that yeah I've done it as well for you at University of rugby guys trying to beat up hockey guys but the hockey guys are like paralytic and could barely throw a punch so I've had to jump in because this massive rugby guy bigger than me was trying to get a hockey guy in a headlock and I was.
I just pushed him whilst he was sort of slightly swaying as I go you just go away we'll just keep time Corner a couple of others as well but that was one of the main ones I remember but yeah it's just so interesting isn't it like again when I when we think about like it like when we have kids and stuff like how you prepare them for that because again I don't think it's a case of like it's a case of being ready but.

Yeah we beat ourselves up like we beat ourselves a bit more than we externally beat anything else up but we violence on our like potent toll of like the things we would ever do is like we would be willing to say something cutting about someone or take the mick out of someone way way way higher up than do violence whereas someone else would be like you know um violence would be like higher up the poem but but saying something cutting.
About something oh that would be a too serious kind of thing right so anyway violence is nowhere near our thing so we usually just joke about stuff so I go anyway for some random reason I do not know why and there's two guys right a small guy and a big guy some random reason I turn around I don't know why I think it's probably because I was like I don't be punching the back of the head because people can die from being.
Punched in the back of head right so I turn around and it's this like potato shop right and I look around and he's got like grills like proper grills and he's like you want like and he starts walking towards me and then basically I start walking towards him I have no idea why I'm walking towards him because I'm like I'm literally saying no mate was it wasn't you wasn't like wasn't anything to do with you wasn't anything to do with you and then.
As I'm I'm sort of still walking towards him I don't know what you're doing this one I think you're just behind me right I'm not sure if you're walking towards me but I'm walking towards him I think I didn't talk with you because I was thinking oh yeah yeah if we're about to get a fight I can't be a couple of meters behind otherwise it'll be too late then I realized I was basically there was this corner of a wall so I'm.
Walking towards him and I'm closing off my my like runoff spot because I'm walking towards him I'm getting close to him he can catch me and also there's this wall here so he can push me into this wall right so then I'm like no mate it's not about you and I turn away and just like walk off and then we walk off it was so funny the fact that like you know people do not to irritate people right just to get someone to like.
To get I wasn't it was just funny that you like walked straight acrosses kind of thing like knowing that we're walking out so and obviously we're much smaller than he was so I just thought it was funny but I thought it was funny that I was willing to basically annoingly so walking back towards him be like nah let's talk about fight stories like we hardly remember invites but these are all the fights that was in our lives you.

It's always about being super aware of your of your surroundings basically yeah sort of clocking do you think they've got a gun do you think they've got a knife how much would it be aimed at you but I think you can sometimes tell in it looks like they're on a date night I don't know how this guy's got the beat up okay if I stopped it pre-beat up then you'd have again the adrenaline ready to beat someone up so that could be focused.
On me but he's shown his dominance he's got rid of some enough adrenaline but he's not gone too far but then affect his future so it's like cool like guys sometimes need to beat someone up to then lay out their system so it's like cool you've done that you've got out your system just go now because anything worse now will just put him in hospital or take you to the police like you've got whatever your system but yeah.
So I think it's so interesting yeah it's like I don't I understand it I understand it but I'm just not wired that way in the sense of like I understand ego you kind of like want to defend the honor and all those Dynamics but I'm just not wired that way to be like beat somebody up to like defend me on it and it's not as if like I I just don't know I'm just not wired that way to like need to assert some dominance.
Over somebody else to like like because he's offended me or like I've been offended in what happened therefore to get my own back or anything which is fascinating and I don't know why I don't know why that is well I know why that is because I've been brought up with certain kind of like characteristics and the culture that we've been brought up in but it's just interesting like the difference between someone that does feel you've offended me therefore I need.

Buckle so hitting people with a friggins are beating people up and it was a bit strange because like I think people were looking at them going oh that's probably a play fighting and clearly were walking away or just like walking wide around them and it was on this like little skate park and it does mean Tony just I don't know doing it a wonder and just talking about life or whatever and then I think Tony cockton was like oh we need.
To help these people because clearly like this isn't a mess about like pushing around because you're not seeing anyone laughing like you clearly it seemed like it was honing in on one or two kids for some reason and it's clearly these kids are up for fighting I remember Tony just walking straight in there but what he did is he got his phone out and started recording instantly and he was like just to let you know guys I'm recording so whatever.
